The Look: Favorite Black Shirt Dresses
The black shirt dress is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It is versatile, effortless, and comfortable.
The shirt dress was introduced in the 1950s as a part of Christian Dior's post-war "New Look." It borrowed design details from men's shirting. Today however, it seems as though the shirtdress has long taken on a life of its own as a go-to wardrobe staple for women.
This post was inspired by the image on the right here, which was generated by the GAN fashion blogger that we've posted about before. I imagine the figure in this pixelated image is wearing a black short-sleeved shirt dress. What do you see?
